Weaver Leads as No.21 Noles Move Up at Cabo Collegiate

LOS CABOS, Mexico

–  The No. 21 Florida State men’s golf team climbed to third place on the second day of the Cabo Collegiate on Monday at the Twin Dolphin Club after turning in the lowest team score in the round.
 
The Seminoles shot 7-under, 277, besting No. 2 Arizona State by two strokes for the round-low, moving to 1-under.
 
After scoring 69 on Sunday, Tyler Weaver added a round of 66 on Monday and sits first by one stroke with a score of 7-under, 135. His round was fueled by six birdies. It was his second round scoring 66 this season.
 
Jack Bigham is tied for 25th after shooting 72 on Tuesday along with Carson Brewer. Brewer shot 71 and both Noles sit at 3-over, 145.
 
Gray Albright and Michael Mays are 6-over, 148. Albright got back on track after carding 68 on Tuesday and Mays matched his 74 from Sunday.
 
The final round will start at 10:30 a.m.
