Gators Face No.15 Texas A&M in Weekend Battle
COLLEGE STATION, TX. – The Gators conclude their time on the road on Saturday with another top-25 battle as they face No. 15 Texas A&M at the Mitchell Tennis Center. Doubles is slated to begin at 2 p.m. with singles following immediately after.
Florida moved to an 8-6 overall record, and 3-2 in conference play. The all-time series between UF and Texas A&M is in favor of the Aggies at 10-11. The last time the teams met was March 1, 2024 at the Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex. The Orange and Blue displayed a dominant performance securing the match 4-0.
The Gators last contest was a 4-0 loss to No. 16 Oklahoma in Sooners territory. Florida could not clinch the doubles point and was left winless in the singles category.
The Aggies enter Saturday’s match with a 9-5 overall record and 3-1 in the SEC. Texas A&M is coming off a 5-2 win over the Auburn Tigers.
Texas A&M has two singles players in the ITA rankings: No. 38 Theo Papamalamis and No. 45 JC Roddick. The Aggies are also represented in doubles with: No. 27 Luke Casper and Togan Tokac, No. 46 Tokac and Giulio Perego, and No. 52 Tokac and Papamalamis.

ITA RANKINGS
As a team, Florida cracked into the top-25 sitting at No. 24. Three Gators is ranked in singles competition: Jeremy Jin at No. 62, Henry Jefferson at No. 90, and Adhithya Ganesan at No.95. UF also has two ranked doubles pairs. Tanapatt Nirundorn and Henry Jefferson sit at No. 19, followed by Nirundorn and Ganesan at No. 68.
