The Walton County Board of County Commissioners recognizes not for profit organizations play an important role in our community. As a part of the budget process, the Board of County Commissioners allocates funds toward an opportunity for assistance to non-profits. Walton County is committed to providing financial assistance to those nonprofit agencies which assist the County in carrying out its vision to “be THE premier County in which to live, visit, work and play” and mission “to efficiently and effectively serve the citizens of Walton County by providing a safe community and a sustainable economy while preserving our quality of life and natural resources.” Applications for 2026 will be accepted through March 31, 2024, at 5 pm.
