Alabama Advances 10 to NCAA Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama men’s swimming and diving team will have 10 individuals represent the Crimson Tide at the Men’s NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships, the NCAA announced Wednesday.
The Crimson Tide will have five swimmers and one diver compete in individual events, plus an additional four swimmers who will serve as alternates for the team’s four qualified relays. Qualified individuals will have the ability to compete in additional events at the meet.
The NCAA Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships will be held March 26-29 in Federal Way, Wash.

- Kaique Alves highlights the team after qualifying for the national meet in three events
- He enters the meet with the 14th-best 200 freestyle time, 19th-best 100 breaststroke time and 27th-best 100 freestyle time
- Charlie Hawke also qualified in multiple events, paced by the nation’s fourth-fastest 200 freestyle time and seventh-fastest 500 free time
- Tommy Hagar enters the 200 backstroke seeded 20th, while Toni Dragoja is seeded 25th in the 200 freestyle
- Leonardo Alcantara holds the No. 16 spot in the mile
- Nigel Chambers became the first UA diver to earn a berth in the platform at the national meet since 2022, putting together a fourth-place finish in the event at the Zone B Diving Championships this week
