Women’s Duo Qualify for NCAA Championships on Platform to Conclude Zones
In total, Five Gator divers qualified in 11 events, with Camyla Monroy and Jesus Gonzalez advancing to Federal Way, Washington in all three diving events. Peyton Donald and Conor Gesing qualified in both springboard events, while Casey Greenberg headlined day four after she punched her first NCAA Championships ticket on platform.

Women’s Platform
With the top-seven qualifying, Greenberg sat in eighth place heading into the finals with a prelim score of 291.40. On the junior’s final dive, she scored a 56.55 to finish with a combined score of 523.40, which was good enough for her to move into seventh and qualify for her first NCAA Championships by .10.
Already advancing in both springboard events, Monroy moved on to the finals after earning a prelim score of 257.50. The sophomore put together a solid final’s performance, scoring a 61.50 and a 75.20 on her opening two dives. She followed up with two 50-plus scores as well as one 67.50 to charge ahead to fifth place with a qualifying score of 566.50.
Up Next:
Florida heads to Federal Way, Washington for the NCAA Division I Swimming and Diving Championships. The women will compete from March 19-22, with the men following on March 26-29. It will be held at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center and will be hosted by Washington State University.

On Casey qualifying for her first NCAA Championships:
“The big story for us was our team captain Casey, pulling it out on the final dive of the competition, qualifying by .1. This will be her first NCAA Championships after missing out a year ago by one place. She couldn’t be more deserving.”
On Camyla qualifying for NCAA Championships in all three events:
“The last day here at Zones didn’t disappoint. Camy once again took care of business qualifying for her 3rd and final event. We are really happy to be moving on and immediately shifting our focus to NCAAs next week.”
On the Gators Zones performance:
“Overall the Gators had a phenomenal meet qualifying five divers in 11 events. We are looking forward to getting back with the rest of the team and carrying this momentum to the championships in Seattle.”
