Last Updated: March 18, 2025By

TALLAHASSEE – Florida State sophomore infielder Jaysoni Beachum was named the ACC Co-Player of the Week on Tuesday afternoon after her stellar performances this past week. Beachum joins Kennedy Harp as the only two Noles to win the award this season as Harp won the award on Feb. 11. Tuesday was the second time Beachum has won the award as she won it on April 23, 2024.

The reigning National Freshman of the Year has found her groove the past few weeks and stacked some great performances in her last five games. In total, Beachum was 11-for-16 (.688) with three home runs and five RBI. Beachum tallied home runs in back-to-back games against Pitt, and in the second game of the doubleheader against Portland State last Tuesday, Beachum tied her career high with four hits against the Vikings. In 10 plate appearances in two games against the Vikings, Beachum reached base eight of those 10 plate appearances which included six hits and two walks. Over the course of the week, Beachum posted a .714 on base percentage and a 1.250 slugging percentage.

The Seminoles will be back in action tomorrow at 7 p.m. when they face Alabama in Tuscaloosa on the SEC Network.
