DELAND – The Florida State beach volleyball team will travel to DeLand, Florida, to participate in the Stetson Beach Blast on March 21 and 22. The seventh-ranked Seminoles will face No. 14 Florida Atlantic and No. 16 Stetson on Friday, and Erskine College and Palm Beach Atlantic on Saturday.

The Seminoles are coming off a 2-2 weekend at the East vs. West Tournament in Manhattan Beach, California. Florida State opened the weekend with a top 10 win over #7 Cal, then a 4-1 victory over #18 Hawai’i. On Saturday FSU dropped back-to-back matches against #1 UCLA and #2 LMU but proved competitive in both duels despite the final tally.

FSU will open the weekend against the 14^th-ranked Owls in their second matchup of the season. The Seminoles previously defeated Florida Atlantic 3-2 on March 8 in Fort Worth. Florida Atlantic currently sits at 10-6 and are coming off a 2-2 homestretch in which they defeated UAB 4-1 and #20 Georgia State 4-1.

Florida State will then play host Stetson. Florida State leads the all-time series with Stetson 20-0, with FSU sweeping the last matchup in Tallahassee in March 2024. The 16^th-ranked Hatters are currently 11-5 and are coming off a 1-3 weekend at the FAU Tournament in Boca Raton.

The Seminoles will open play on Saturday against Erskine College. This marks the first meeting between the Seminoles and the Fleet in program history. Erskine is currently 3-9 in 2025.

FSU will conclude the weekend against Palm Beach Atlantic in the first meeting between the two in program history. Palm Beach Atlantic is currently 10-4, most recently sweeping the PBA Invitational in West Palm Beach last weekend.

Florida State opens play on Friday against Florida Atlantic at 11:30 a.m., followed by Stetson at 2:00 p.m. On Saturday, FSU will play Erskine at 9:15 a.m., then close the weekend against Palm Beach Atlantic at 12:45 p.m. Live stats will be available on Seminoles.com.
