Alabama Meets with Media and Completes Final Practice Ahead of NCAA Tournament First Round
COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The No. 5-seeded Alabama women’s basketball team took the floor at the XFINITY Center to finish preparing for its opening First Round NCAA Tournament game against No. 12 seed Green Bay. The Crimson Tide (23-8) and Seminoles (29-5) will tip off at approximately 12:30 p.m. CT on ESPN2.
Head coach Kristy Curry and select student-athletes Sarah Ashlee Barker and Aaliyah Nye met with reporters before the team went through a full, 90-minute, team practice at the XFINITY Center to finalize its gameplan ahead of Saturday’s matchup. During practice, freshman guard Eris Lester suffered a season-ending lower leg injury.
