Gators Travel to Nashville for Sunday Match with Commodores
The Gators enter the match with a 10-7 overall record and 5-3 in conference play. Florida’s last outing was a 5-2 victory over Ole Miss. UF secured the double point and battled in singles play to earn the win.
Kevin Edengren and Ben Weintraub gave the Gators the advantage as they defeated Noah Schlagenhauf and Loan Lestir 6-3. Jeremy Jin and Adhithya Ganesan clinched the double point with a 6-2 victory over Benjamin Martin and Matthieu Chambonniere.
Ole Miss picked up two quick points in singles as they took courts four and six. Kevin Edengren and Ben Weintraub finished first for UF as they defeated Noah Schlagenhauf and Loan Lestir in a 6-3 outing on court three.
No. 124 Ganesan opened the scoring column for UF winning his match 6-4, 6-3 against Marcel Kamrowski. JanMagnus Johnson followed securing a 6-7, 6-3, 6-2 over Isac Stromberg giving the Gators the lead.
No. 65 Jin sealed the match for Florida in a 4-6, 7-6, 7-6 effort defeating Schlagenhauf. The final point came from Edengren as he defeated Martin 5-7, 7-6, 6-1.
The Commodores enter Sunday’s match with an 8-10 overall record and 1-7 in conference action. Vanderbilt’s last outing was a 4-3 loss to No. 12 Texas A&M. Vanderbilt is represented in the ITA rankings at No. 37 by Nathan Cox and Michael Ross as the lone doubles pair for the Commodores.

ITA RANKINGS
As a team, Florida sits at No. 31 in the ITA rankings. Three Gators are ranked in singles competition: Jeremy Jin at No. 65, Henry Jefferson at No. 113, and Adhithya Ganesan at No. 124. UF also has two ranked doubles pairs, Tanapatt Nirundorn and Henry Jefferson sit at No. 18, followed by Nirundorn and Ganesan at No. 79.
