No. 8 Alabama Baseball Falls 10-0 at No. 16 Auburn on Friday
AUBURN, Ala. – No. 8 Alabama baseball was topped 10-0 by No. 16 Auburn in Friday’s series opener in front of a sold out crowd at Plainsman Park. The contest was made official after seven innings due to the 10-run rule. The loss moves the Crimson Tide to 26-5 overall and 6-4 in Southeastern Conference play.
Zane Adams (4-1) made his eighth start of 2025 and was hit with his first loss of season after surrendering six runs on eight hits with one walk in his lone inning of work. Coulson Buchanan tossed 3.0 innings, allowing two runs on four hits with a strikeout. Tyler Fay and Packy Bradley-Cooney were each tagged for a run, while Ariston Veasey picked up the final two outs of the sixth, notching a strikeout.
Jason Torres was 1-for-3 with a double as Bryce Fowler collected a base-hit to close his 1-for-2 evening.
