TALLAHASSEE – Head Coach Chris Poole and the Florida State volleyball team announced the signing of 5-11 setter Nellie Stevenson out of Montana State this morning.
Stevenson began her career with the Bobcats playing in all 33 matches in 2023. She earned 1,049 assists with an average of 8.53 assists per set. Offensively, Stevenson recorded 69 kills and finished third on the team with 34 aces. Defensively, she managed nine matches with double-digit digs and had 44 blocks for the season.
Keeping her assist numbers high, Stevenson added 664 to her career total at Montana State in 2024. She matched her previous season of aces with 34 and totaled 191 digs over 28 matches.
Prior to Montana State, Stevenson competed with the Feather River College Golden Eagles. She helped lead the program to a 34-match win streak and was named CCCAA Tournament MVP. Stevenson was given First-Team AVCA All-America honors and was the Golden Valley Conference MVP.
Before her collegiate campaign, Stevenson was an All-Conference performer at San Leandro High School in San Leandro, California.
