Florida’s Ganesan and Jin Earn All-SEC Honors

Last Updated: April 24, 2025By

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida men’s tennis standouts No. 40 Adhithya Ganesan and No. 79 Jeremy Jin have been honored by the Southeastern Conference for their exceptional play during the 2024-25 season, the league office announced Thursday.

Ganesan earned First Team All-SEC recognition for the first time in his collegiate career, a testament to his consistent performance and key role in Florida’s success this season. Ganesan has been a driving force in the Gators’ lineup, posting a strong 11-7 singles record and stepping up in high-pressure moments throughout conference play. Ganesan has also displayed dominant doubles outings alongside Jin manning court two.

Jin, a sophomore, was selected to the Second Team All-SEC for the second consecutive year, continuing to build on a standout start to his Florida career. His reliability in both singles and doubles competition has been instrumental for the Gators, reinforcing his status as one of the SEC’s most talented young players. Jin posted five wins during conference play and went 5-3 with Ganesan in doubles action.

Earlier in the season, Jin proved to be among the best in the nation as he competed in the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships after making a run in the ITA Sectionals.

First-team and second-team All-SEC honorees, All-Freshman team, along with Player, Newcomer, Freshman and Coach of the Year were chosen by the league’s 15 coaches. Coaches cannot vote for their own players and ties are not broken.
