BOWLING GREEN, Ky. –  

The No. 10 Florida State men’s golf team moved up six spots on Saturday at the ACC Championship and finished stroke play tied for third place at 6-under, 858. FSU will face California in the quarterfinal starting at 9:20 a.m. ET on Sunday at the Olde Stone Club. 
 
Tyler Weaver led the Seminoles, finishing as the runner-up at 8-under, 208.
 
Starting the day on the ninth hole, Weaver finished the second-round bogey-free, shooting 69 and in a tie for seventh place at 4-under, 140 to start the day.
 
Weaver sank three birdies on the front nine to move to a tie for second place at the turn in the third.  After a bogey on 13, Weaver hit back-to-back birdies to move on 14 and 15 to claim the outright lead at 8-under.  
 
The Newmarket, England, native went in the clubhouse with the lead, to wait out the rest of the field. Weaver would finish second after his round of 68.
 
The Seminoles got to work picking up the second round, carding eight birdies on the back nine. FSU closed the round at 1-over, 286 in eighth place.
 
Luke Clanton shot 69 in the second round and strung together four straight birdies on the front nine in the third.  After an Eagle on the 11th hole, Clanton birdied three of the next four holes and matched his 69 in the second round to finish tied for 14th at 3-under, 213.  
 
Jack Bigham made four birdies on the back nine in the third, 1-over, 217 tied for 25th place after adding 72 in the final round.
 
Carson Brewer started the final round with birdies on three of the first four holes and finished the round even, 72. For the tournament, Brewer tied for 44th at 5-over, 221.
 
Gray Albright also matched his second-round score of 75 in the third, contributing four birdies. He tied for 53rd at 8-over, 224.
