Women’s Golf Moves Up Three Spots on Day Two of the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate
HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Alabama women’s golf team moved three places on the team leaderboard, vaulting into 10th place after day two of the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate with a team total of 26-over par 594 (298-296). Leading the way for the Crimson Tide is Julia Sánchez Morales in 24th overall at 4-over par 146 (74-72).
THE HIGHLIGHTS
- Julia Sánchez Morales recorded five birdies, staying in the top-25 at 4-over par 146 (74-72)
- Mattison Frick moved up 34 spots on the player leaderboard, posting her second-lowest round of the season at 1-under par 70
- Ryan Flynn posted a team-best 11 pars, finishing the second round at 6-over par 77, moving into a tie for 37thoverall
- Harriet Lockley finished the day at 13-over par 155 (77-78) in a tie for 73rd overall
- Molly Brown Davidson moved six spots up the leaderboard, carding a 4-over par 75 for round two
TEAM RESULTS
- No. 2 Arkansas and No. 5 South Carolina are tied for first place on the team leaderboard at 5-over par 573 (288-285)
- Arkansas’ Kendall Todd sits atop the player leaderboard at 2-under par 140 (68-72)
- The Crimson Tide will begin the third and final round of the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate on Wednesday, March 5, beginning at 8:30 a.m. CT
