Women’s Golf Wraps Up Day One at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate
HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Alabama women’s golf team sits in 13th place after the opening round of the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate with a team total of 14-over par 298. Leading the way for the Crimson Tide is Julia Sánchez Morales and Ryan Flynn, in a tie for 13th place on the player leaderboard with a score of 1-over par 72.

- Alabama’s duo of Julia Sánchez Morales and Ryan Flynn sit tied for 13th overall at 1-over par 72
- Morales led the Crimson Tide with five birdies in the opening round
- Flynn posted a team-best 10 pars throughout the first 18 holes of the tournament
- Tied at 61st on the player leaderboard is UA’s Harriet Lockley and Mattison Frick, with a first round score of 6-over par 77
- Rounding out the lineup is Molly Brown Davidson at 11-over par 82, sitting in 86th place
