OXFORD, Miss. – The No. 21 Alabama men’s tennis team (10-4, 2-3 SEC) fell 4-3 to Ole Miss (11-3, 2-2 SEC) on Thursday. 

The Crimson Tide secured the doubles point before Filip Planinsek and Roan Jones recorded singles victories. Planinsek’s win at the No. 1 spot was his 11^th consecutive singles win this season.

• Filip Planinsek captured his 11^th consecutive singles victory, remaining undefeated in the event with an 11-0 record 
•  Planinsek downed Noah Schlagenhauf at the No. 1 spot with a 6-3, 6-4 victory 
• Roan Jones battled back after a first-set loss to claim court two with a 2-6, 7-6(8) 6-2 win over Marcel Kamrowski 
• Prior to Alabama’s victories from Planinsek and Jones in singles, the Tide claimed the doubles point 
• Damien Nezar and Andrii Zimnokh defeated Benjamin Martin and Matthieu Chambonniere, 6-4, while Zach Foster and Enzo Aguaird downed Schlagenhauf and Loan Lester, 7-5
