TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The No. 18 Alabama women’s tennis team (8-4, 2-2 SEC) fell to No. 8 LSU (13-1, 4-0 SEC), 4-2, on Friday at the Alabama Tennis Stadium.

- The LSU Tigers secured the doubles point after claiming victories on courts one and three
- Both of the Crimson Tide’s points came during singles play after winning on courts one and four, respectfully, both in straight sets
- No. 79 Petra Sedlackova downed No. 54 Cadence Brace in a dominant two-set victory, 6-0, 6-4, which gave Alabama its first point of the match
- Maria Martinez-Vaquero secured UA’s final point with a straight set win over Antia Sahdiieva, 6-3, 6-3
- LSU clinched the match with a win on court three after No. 65 Tilwith Di Girolami defeated Klara Milicevic in three sets, 2-6, 6-1, 6-3
- Courts two, three and six went in favor of the Tigers as court five stood unfinished in the third set
