Rhoads Stadium to Host AUSL Championship and Two-Game Series in July

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Athletes Unlimited Softball League revealed its full summer schedule Monday and Alabama’s Rhoads Stadium will be one of eight host sites during the season, including a two-game series between the Talons and Volts July 22-23 and the AUSL Championship, a best-of-three series from July 26-28.

“We are honored and excited to host the AUSL this summer at the Rhoads House,” UA Head Coach Patrick Murphy said. “The best of the best in softball will be here and we hope all of our fans will join us.”

Action at Rhoads Stadium begins with a pair of games between the Talons and Volts on Tuesday, July 22 at 6 p.m. CT and Wednesday, July 23 at 7 p.m. CT. Alabama All-American Montana Fouts was drafted to the Talons in the league’s draft earlier this year.

Upon the conclusion of the AUSL regular season that Wednesday, the top two seeds in the four-team league will face off in the AUSL Championship at Rhoads Stadium starting Saturday, July 26 at 5 p.m. CT. Game two of the best-of-three series will take place Sunday, July 27 at 4 p.m. CT with a third if-necessary game taking place Monday, July 28 at 7 p.m. CT.

Tickets will go on sale Wednesday, March 19 at 9 a.m. CT through the Alabama Athletics Ticket Office at RollTide.com.
