TALLAHASSEE – The Florida State women’s tennis team will host its first conference matches of the season at the Scott Speicher Memorial Tennis Center this weekend. The Seminoles are set to dive back into conference play beginning with Louisville on Friday at 4:00 p.m. before playing No. 23 Notre Dame on Sunday at noon.

FSU enters Friday’s match with a 13-0 record against the Cardinals, including a 5-1 victory last season in Louisville. The Seminoles hold an 8-5 record all-time against the Irish, dating back to their first match in 1996.

After a recent scheduling change saw matches against Navy and Georgetown canceled, FSU is looking to get back into the win column following their match at No. 45 Syracuse. The Noles have begun ACC play 1-1 and are currently on an eight-match ACC home win streak that began in 2023.

Eva Shaw has been dominant on Court 1 during ACC play. Shaw enters the weekend with a 2-0 ACC record and 6-3 overall. On the doubles courts, Shaw and Maria Juliana Parra Romero, the 84th ranked pair in the nation, are 1-0 in conference play and 8-0 together this season. Their eight-match winning streak is tied for 13th all-time in Seminole history for a doubles pair.

Live stats for both matches will be available on Seminoles.com. Admission is free to all Florida State home tennis matches.
