Florida Hosts No. 29 Arkansas in Saturday Showdown
The Gators return home to face the Razorbacks on Saturday at 12 p.m.
The Orange and Blue enter Saturday’s match with an 8-7 overall record and 3-3 in conference play. The all-time series between UF and Arkansas is in favor of the Gators at 22-2. The last time the two teams met was April 12, 2024 in Fayetteville where the Razorbacks defeated Florida 4-3.
Florida’s first test on the road came last Thursday as they faced Oklahoma. UF was shut out 4-0 as the Sooners took the victory. Oklahoma secured the double point and took courts four, six, and two to close out the match. The Gators last contest was a 7-0 loss to Texas A&M. Florida saw struggles early in doubles and could not regroup in singles. The loss marked the third consecutive loss for UF.
The Razorbacks enter Saturday’s match with a 14-6 overall record and 3-3 in conference action. Arkansas last outing was a 4-0 loss to then-No. 25 South Carolina. Arkansas currently sits at No. 29 in the ITA rankings and has two players ranked in singles, No. 82 Lukas Palovic and No. 124 Jakub Vrba.

ITA RANKINGS
As a team, Florida cracked into the ITA rankings sitting at No. 27. Three Gators are ranked in singles competition: Jeremy Jin at No. 62, Henry Jefferson at No. 90, and Adhithya Ganesan at No. 95. UF also has two ranked doubles pairs. Tanapatt Nirundorn and Henry Jefferson sit at No. 19, followed by Nirundorn and Ganesan at No. 68.
