Gators Crack Top-25 in New ITA Rankings
Junior Rachel Gailis cracks the top 50 in singles at No. 39. Her ranking comes after posting back-to-back wins on the road.

Florida women’s tennis has earned a top-25 ranking after posting wins at Mississippi State and No. 21 Alabama. UF is also represented in the singles and doubles rankings.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released updated rankings, featuring five Gators. Florida had representation in all three categories: singles, doubles, and team. The rise in rankings comes after UF had a dominate weekend on the road defeating Mississippi State and Alabama.
Rachel Gailis leads the Gators in the singles rankings at No. 39. The ranking follows her impressive weekend going undefeated in both singles and doubles. Gailis’ largest win of the season stands at 6-2, 2-6, 6-4 against then ranked No. 2., DJ Bennett of Auburn.
Alicia Dudeney comes in at No. 91 in the singles rankings. Dudeney has logged two consecutive singles wins and six overall in 2025 play.
In doubles, Rachel Gailis and Alicia Dudeney remain at No. 6 after their run to the final four in the NCAA Tournament, earlier this season. Additionally, the duo of Alicia Dudeney and Bente Spee have cracked the rankings at No. 60.
