Community Clean-Up

Choctaw Beach Community

Drop-off site at Cedar Avenue and Juniper Drive

April 21, – April 27, 2024

Sponsored By Commissioner Dan Curry, District 1

Dumpsters will be provided for Walton County residents only to dispose of tires, plus appliances, electronics, metal, furniture, old lumber, junk, and other miscellaneous debris. The District 4 Road Crew will collect yard waste in the community during the week.

This event is for the convenience of the residents of the community to dispose of small quantities of junk and debris.

This is not for businesses of any kind. The dumpsters have limited capacity; therefore, large loads should be taken to the Walton County Landfill for disposal.

A Recycling Trailer is located at the Choctaw Fire Station for newsprint, cardboard, plastic, and aluminum.

Limit of four tires per household.  No household food waste.

NO HAZARDOUS MATERIALS (PAINT, PETROLEUM, PESTICIDES, CHEMICALS, BATTERIES, ETC.)!
