Alabama Inks Middle Tennessee Star Ta’Mia Scott
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama head coach Kristy Curry announced the addition of Ta’Mia Scott to the women’s basketball program on Friday. Scott, a Clarksville, Tenn., native, will join the Crimson Tide’s roster for the upcoming 2025-26 season after spending three seasons at Middle Tennessee State.

- Collected a total of 471 rebounds, 87 blocks and 99 steals for MTSU across three seasons
- Started in all 35 games during the 2024-25 season for Middle Tennessee State, averaging 35.5 minutes per game
- Started every game for MTSU in two-straight seasons
- Scored a career-high 30 points in MTSU’s win over Jacksonville (Feb. 6, 2025)
- Led the Blue Raiders in scoring, averaging 16.7 points per game
- Grabbed the second-most rebounds on the team with 232 (6.6 rpg), during last season
- Scored double figures in 21 games throughout the 2023-24 season, including 26 points in three different games
- Contributed to MTSU’s 16-game win streak during her freshman season (2022-23)
