The 2025 Arnold Palmer Cup will take place at the Congaree Golf Club in Ridgeland, S.C. The Ryder Cup-style competition, which features men’s and women’s collegiate golfers from the United States versus their International counterparts, will be played June 5-7, 2025. The championship is named for Arnold Palmer and has been contested between a United States team and an International team representing the rest of the world. The United States and the International teams consist of 12 men and 12 women each.
Weaver, a member of the 2025 ACC Championship semifinalist Seminole men’s team, will make his first appearance in the Palmer Cup. Woad will represent England in the event for the second time (2023 and 2025) while Ting will represent Malaysia for the third time (2023 , 2024, and 2025).
Weaver is a native of Newmarket, England. He has earned five top 10 finishes in 10 starts for the No. 10 ranked Seminoles. The sophomore was the runner-up in the stroke play portion of the at the 2025 ACC Championship, finishing with an 8 under par score of 208 at the Olde Stone Club in Bowling Green, Ky.
Woad and Ting helped the No. 3 ranked Seminole women’s team to their first ever team title at the 2025 ACC Championship at the Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C.
Woad earned 2.5 points in four matches for the International Team at the 2023 Arnold Palmer Cup at the Laurel Valley Golf Club in Ligonier, Pa. She earned points in the Friday Foursomes, Friday Fourball, Saturday Foursome, and Saturday Fourball competitions. The USA won the championship of the 2023 Arnold Palmer Cup by a 32-28 margin.
Ting earned 2.0 points in four matches as a member of the International Team in the 2024 Arnold Palmer Cup. She earned a full point with a victory in the Mixed Foursome event and .5 points with a draw result in the Mixed Foursome and Singles competitions. Team USA won the 2024 Arnold Palmer Cup competition by a 32.5-27.5 final score.
Ting also earned 2.0 points in four matches for the International Team at the 2023 Arnold Palmer Cup. She earned her first point in the Friday Foursome event and in her Saturday Singles match.
Ting and Woad will travel to Lexington, Kentucky, for the NCAA Women’s Regional Championship, May 5-7. Weaver and the Seminole men will compete in the Men’s NCAA Regional in Tallahassee, May 12-14, at Seminole Legacy.
